Your educator is well-known and respected photographer, Helen McLeod. Christchurch based, Helen is a Fellow of the Photographic Society of New Zealand, an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society and holds a Gold Portfolio Distinction with the Photographic Society of America.
She has been tutoring photography for a large number of years in tertiary institutions, as part of the Adult Community Education program in Christchurch, around NZ at photographic clubs and societies and in a private capacity.
She has a diverse knowledge base through her employment in the following genres of photography:
forensic, wedding, event, interior design, commercial, product, industrial, demolition, birth, portrait, landscape, animal, marketing, macro and fine art to name a few.
Photoshop is the editing program of choice for Helen who has been using this for over 25 years - and while not professing to know everything, she is willing to share her knowledge and secrets.
Helen's fine art photography is revered throughout New Zealand. Some of this can be seen in Christchurch at Chambers Art Gallery or Magma Art Gallery, or viewed by private appointment. - she has held many exhibitions of her work nationally.

Our style of education is relaxed and informal using techniques that include experimentation, play and is very much fun orientated. A nurturing environment is key and with full participation encouraged - there is no such thing as a stupid question except for the one that you don't ask.
