Autumn Landscape Workshop
April 12 - 18, 2026​
From Christchurch we will travel via the McKenzie Country and over the Lindis Pass, stopping when photographs become apparent.

These workshops see us based in beautiful Cromwell only a skip and a hop from the tracks we will be exploring:

​These areas are full of stunning colours in autumn and lovely lighting conditions at this time of the year.
Come and be inspired by what the first gold miners of the region discovered. Our classroom is the great outdoors and is aimed at all levels of photographic experience.

Winter Landscape Workshops
June 21 - 27, 2026
July 12 - 18, 2026
Based in the winter wonderland that is Wedderburn, come and explore, photograph and be inspired by the beautiful Maniototo area of Central Otago. Join a small group of likeminded photographers as we travel around discovering amazing vistas exposed by the soft light this region is famous for.

These workshops cover all aspects of landscape photography from composition to dealing with unfavourable light. Should we encounter adverse conditions that prevent us from getting into the field we will cover post-processing techniques designed to enhance your images.
​
Please note: This workshop is predominantly designed to make the most of the lighting conditions likely encountered in this region at this time of the year - hence, photographic capturing takes preference over processing of images.
​
We will stay at the comfortable and warm Wedderburn Cottages and have evening meals at local historic taverns.

Photoshop Bootcamp
September 20 - 26, 2026
Based in Wedderburn, Maniototo, we will demystify the power that is Adobe Photoshop.
Starting slow, we will set up the workspace in the most efficient way, master masking, learn about layering, adjust our thinking about adjustment layers! We will run ourselves ragged by exploring Adobe Camera Raw, and jump through hoops discovering how we can use Blending Modes.
Filled with loads of tricks and tips you will come away with a comprehensive understanding of Photoshop and how to harness the power you have unleashed!

Composite Photography Retreat

Based in Wedderburn, we will let our imaginations run wild and learn the basics behind this very creative genre of photography.

​Here we will explore the skills required to create our own surreal and fantastical images. We will push the boundaries of creative thinking and discover new techniques while bearing in mind the different considerations we need to be aware of.

If you wish to move your photography into the realm of creative digital photo-artistry, then this is the workshop for you.
