Photoshop History States

Photoshop has many behind the scenes settings that you can adjust to improve your working and it’s performance.  Ever wanted to go back in your history to find that going back as far as you wish is no longer an option?  You may not know but Photoshop, by default, will only hold on to 50 history states for you.  We can change this so that you can retain 1000 history states before overwriting your steps – with this number, not even I have overwritten my history even when working upon my larger more complicated composite images!
